 Hands trembling, you hold up the book cover close to your face. If this book wasn't the one, you were all doomed. A sharp inhale and exhale blew off most of the dust surrounding the title, at least enough for it to be readable. ---- 3 months earlier---------- It was early summer, school was out and the hot sun burned harder than before. The soft hum of the ac blew, the occasional chirps and coo's created a calm relaxing tone. Raising your arm towards the ceiling, you looked at it , a blank mind with your back against the floor. Today you had woken up with a dull headache, they got worse during school, so you didn't pay it much attention.

A blond boy sat on a chair. A table next to him with a glass of water. He sat in a trance sort of way, a way that made it seem like he wasn't there. He was here for questioning. "What is your name?" A voice spoke. "Lukas...my name is...Lukas Bondevik." He said in a dazed tone. His pale features contoured what you would call a blank canvas. The ocean in his eyes were deprived of any life.
